Martapura is one of the cities in South Kalimantan, this capital city of Banjar Regency since long time ago has been known as a city with the religious nuance. The people who still keep tightly the Islam’s norm, to make this city called also Serambi Mekkah city.

But not only it, Martapura also well know in the whole world because one of the area that produce the diamond and to be the center of the jewelry. The legend of Martapura more appears to the top when in the sixties a big diamond, that till now is to be the second that the biggest in the world that is ever found by human, getting by some miners.

The diamond is further well known as Trisakti diamond. Although the existence of the big diamond has never been revealed, but its fame raise the name of Martapura up as one of the quality diamond producers in the world.
